HiBob App Installation & Setup Guide

The CorporateGift for HiBob integration enables organizations to automate employee gifting and recognition programs using employee lifecycle data maintained in HiBob. Once connected, administrators can create automated campaigns for onboarding, birthdays, work anniversaries, employee milestones, and other engagement initiatives.

Supported gift types include eGifts, physical gifts, company swag, and reward experiences.

Prerequisites

Before installing the integration:

You must have an active CorporateGift account.
You must have administrator access to your HiBob account.
You should be logged into both CorporateGift and HiBob using the same browser session.

Installing the Integration

Step 1: Open Integrations

Log in to your CorporateGift account.
Navigate to Account > My Integrations.
Locate the HiBob integration.
Click Add.

Step 2: Connect HiBob

Click Start Integration Process.
You will be redirected to the HiBob authorization page.
Review the requested permissions.
Click Authorize.

Once authorization is complete, the integration status will display as Connected.

CorporateGift will now securely synchronize approved employee data from HiBob.

Employee Data Synchronization

After installation, CorporateGift can access the employee information authorized by your organization, including:

Employee name
Email address
Birth date
Start date
Department
Work location
Additional supported employee attributes

This information is used to power automated gifting and recognition campaigns.

Creating an Automated Campaign

Step 1: Create a New Automation

Navigate to My Campaigns.
Click Add Automation.
Select HiBob as the automation source.

Step 2: Configure Employee Filters

You can target specific employee groups using filters such as:

Department
Work location
Employee tenure
Employment status
Other supported employee attributes

This allows you to create customized programs for different teams, regions, or employee populations.

Step 3: Select a Gift Type

Choose how gifts will be delivered:

eGift
Physical Gift
Company Swag
Reward Experience

For physical gifts, shipping information must be available for recipients.

Step 4: Choose a Trigger Event

Select the employee event that will activate the automation.

Supported events include:

New Hire Onboarding
Birthday
Work Anniversary
Employee Milestones

For example, you may configure a campaign to send a gift to employees celebrating their 1st through 5th work anniversary.

Step 5: Configure Timing

Define when the gift should be sent:

On the event date
A specified number of days before the event
A specified number of days after the event

Step 6: Configure Payment

Choose how gifts will be funded:

Available CorporateGift budget
Payment method on file

Step 7: Enable Notifications (Optional)

Administrators can receive reminder notifications before gifts are sent.

Step 8: Review and Activate

Review the employee recipients who currently match your criteria.

Click Apply to activate the automation.

How the Automation Works

Once activated, CorporateGift continuously monitors employee lifecycle data received from HiBob.

When an employee matches the configured criteria and a triggering event occurs, CorporateGift automatically initiates the gifting workflow according to the campaign settings.

No manual tracking or intervention is required.
