Corporate Gift Shopify Integration Instructions

  1. CorporateGift Will upload the vendor's products with data supporting vendor SKU/ ID
  2. The vendor must install CorporateGift.com Shopify App: 
    1. https://apps.shopify.com/corporategift-connector-2
  3. Login- After successful installation of the app the first screen will lead to a pop up to your CorporateGift vendor panel login, which looks like this: 
    1. Please reach out if you did not receive your login information and we will push it back out to you.
  4. Once you login you will get a notification that says login successful - as soon as you login you connect Corporategift to Shopify (no API key is needed)
  5. Configure the Corporategift App- Please review the following setting options:
    1. Order Financial Status - This sets the default payment status in Shopify once an order is imported from CorporateGift.com to your Shopify store. You can set the payment status you want to use, based on your agreement with CorporateGift.
    2. Sync Inventory - Use this checkbox to enable inventory sync from your Shopify store to Corporategift.com; this will allow CorporateGift to automate your inventory counts on our website.
    3. Apply Order Discount - To allow correct billing for each price set on Shopify for your products you can set-up a coupon that represents the discount you provided to CorporateGift in your Seller Agreement and add it here.
    4. Map Shipping - CorporateGift uses 3 shipping methods; Ground/Home delivery, 2 days or overnight. To be able to create the order correctly and assign the shipping correctly on your Shopify store we need to match CorporateGift shipping methods to your Shopify method.
      Select the corresponding shipping method from the dropdown, if you cannot find it, select "Other" and type the shipping method from your shipping settings.

  6. CorporateGift Order Details created on Shopify:
    1. When a CorporateGift order is created on Shopify you can identify it by tags representing the CorporateGift Order ID:

CG Product List in Shopify App

Overview

The CG Product List contains Shopify store products that have been added to the CorporateGift.com catalog. This interface allows users to manage their products, resolve issues, and ensure smooth synchronization between Shopify and CorporateGift.com.

Navigation & Status Tabs

The product list includes a top navigation section with tabs representing different product statuses:

  • All - Displays all products that have been added.

  • Blocker - Products that do not have a Shopify Variant ID associated with them. These products cannot be matched one-to-one for order creation, inventory updates, or synchronization.
  • Alert - Products that do not have inventory

The product list allows filtering by the following criteria:

  • Product ID - CorporateGift product ID.

  • Product Name - Name of the product.

  • SKU - Shopify SKU.

  • Quantity - Filterable by range (e.g., from X to Y).

  • Inventory Status - Displays whether a product is In Stock or Out of Stock.

  • Shopify Variant ID - Identifies the product variant in Shopify.

  • Status - Represented by icons:

    •  - OK – The product is correctly set up, has inventory, and is matched with a Shopify catalog item. It is ready to be sold on CorporateGift.
    • - Alert – The product has no inventory. If automatic synchronization is enabled, it will update on schedule. Otherwise, open the More menu (⋮) and select Update Inventory.
    • - Blocker – The product is not matched with a Shopify catalog item. Orders cannot be created for it in Shopify, and inventory cannot be automatically synced. To fix this, add the Shopify Variant ID to the product on CorporateGift. ,Open the More menu (⋮) and select Update variant ID. 

Product Actions

Each product row contains a More Options (⋮) menu with the following actions:

  1. Update Inventory

  • Available only if the vendor has not set automatic sync for the product.

  • Opens a pop-up form with a field to manually update and save the product quantity.

    2. Update Variant ID

  • Opens a pop-up form allowing the user to add or update a Shopify Variant ID.

  • A Variant ID must be unique. If it is assigned to another product, it must be removed from the existing product before it can be added to a new one.

Locating Your Shopify Variant ID

  • From the Shopify Admin Panel 
  • Go to your Shopify Admin.
  • Navigate to Products > Select a product.
  • Scroll down to the Variants section.
  • Click on a variant.
  • Look at the URL in your browser, which will be something like
  • https://{your domain}/products/{prouct}?variant={variant id}
