Step 1: Create an Application in PingOne

To begin using PingOne as your identity provider for Corporategift.com, you'll need to create an application within the PingOne admin dashboard. This process is detailed in the official PingOne documentation, which you can find here. While following the steps in the documentation, please also review the specific configuration requirements listed below.

  1. Go to Applications > Applications.

  2. Click the + icon to create a new application.

  3. Enter the following details:

    • Application Name (required)
    • Description (optional)
    • Icon/Logo (optional)
    • Application Type: Select SAML Application.

  4. Click Configure.


Step 2: Provide Application Metadata

  1. Under Application Metadata, select Manually Enter.

  2. ACS URL: The URL should follow this pattern:

    https://api.corporategift.com/api/sso/{companyname}/acs

    For example, if your company is named “PizzaTime”, the URL will be:

    https://api.corporategift.com/api/sso/pizzatime/acs

    Note: If you are unsure of your company name in Corporategift, please consult your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Sales Representative. Remember, the URLs are case-sensitive.

  3. EntityID: Use the following format:

    https://api.corporategift.com/api/sso/{companyname}/metadata

    For example, for “PizzaTime,” the EntityID would be:

    https://api.corporategift.com/api/sso/pizzatime/metadata
  4. Click Save.


Step 3: Edit SAML Settings

Once the application is successfully created, follow these steps to adjust the SAML settings:

  1. Select Protocol: SAML.
  2. Change the Subject NameID Format to the following:
    urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress

  3. Click Save.

Step 4: Adjust Attribute Mappings

Ensure that the attribute mappings are configured as shown in the screenshot below.

  1. Click Save to finalize the mappings.

Step 5: Enable the Application and Send Metadata

  1. In the top-right corner, toggle the switch to enable the application.

  2. Click Download Metadata and send the downloaded metadata file to your CSM to complete the setup on Corporategift's side.
